The 3M Fire Barrier Plastic Pipe Device is a one piece metal collar assembly encasing 3M's heat-expanding 3M Fire Barrier Ultra GS material. Used to firestop up to nominal 4" diameter non-metallic pipes, cables and combos in new and retrofit installations. Achieves up to 3-hour fire protection in tested and listed systems.
- TESTED FIRESTOP PERFORMANCE: Tested for through penetration applications up to 3-hours in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC-S115
- SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED: For installing firestop around 4” non-metallic pipe penetrations
- ULTRA-FAST ANCHORING SYSTEM: One-piece metal construction requires no assembly
- EASY INSTALL METAL TABS: Easy anchoring tabs let installers anchor penetrations to slabs quickly and permanently
- PERMANENT AND STRUCTURAL: Permanent fixed firestop also contributes to the structural stability of the penetration
