U.2 SSD is a form factor that supports NVMe standard protocol and PCIe 4.0 x4 bus, making the theoretical bandwidth of U.2 SSDs up to 32Gbps with high speed, low latency and lower power consumption advantages. However, U.2 SSDs aren't cheap, as it's targeted entirely for high-computing server and data center markets, hence, SilverStone created the MUA01, a NVMe M.2 SSD to U.2 SSD adapter, for users wishing to utilize NVMe M.2 SSDs in their high-performance computing applications.
