Cotton silk is very famous all over the world. It is a composition of silk warp(Taara) and cotton ‘weft’ (Baana) the texture of the fabric will depend on the wearing pattern either on handloom or powerloom or in mills.
It can be their tough or flowy enough. It can be look like a piece of silk again depending upon the wearing patterns.
In india cotton silk is in process practise on which their name depends, like Chanderi Maheshwari, Banarasi and south cotton silk.
Here we use a very different and unusual cotton silk from ‘Jharkhand’. The fabric of sarres is very light weight and flowy. We use mulberry silk warp and special kind of cotton. The wearing style of the region makes it different from other states cotton silk.
The idea behind this very new concept is that this weaving can not imitated by powerlooms easily and strength the woven working under very bad conditions. With this project we set a kind of plain weaving even on the existed looms at their homes.
After successfully woven plain fabrics we have designed with our concept block print which is totally in house production. The technique of block print is very special discharge printing with 100% Azo-free color for maintaining slow fashion.
Every single saree has its own design following theory of single piece in single design.
Working clusters of one region to another.
